The Amado was created to inspire a desert adventure. Originally built in 1955 and now extensively renovated to accommodate even the most discerning traveler’s needs, this classic mid-century building complex boasts five beautiful and carefully curated suites, making it the ideal location for large families or celebrations.
Guests enter The Amado through a set of cheerful orange doors. The courtyard is landscaped with desert succulents and a mature hedge of ficus trees providing privacy. There are loungers, a community table, BBQ and a cozy fire pit to lounge around under starlit nights.
Our aesthetic is minimal and organic with subtle hits of Bolivian textiles. We have cuted art by local talent Cristopher Cichocki and owner Jaime Kowal’s photography thrown in for good measure. Carefully furnished with beautiful custom-made furniture made of reclaimed wood, there is a clean, minimal and cohesive design throughout.
The Amado has been featured in Architectural Digest, Wallpaper Magazine, Travel & Leisure, Vogue Living Australia, Apartment Therapy, Palm Springs Life Magazine, Palm Springs Style Magazine, Design Love Fest, Los Angeles Times, E! Canada, Elle UK , GOOP and many more.
